Delta II launches GPS IIR-19M

A Boeing/United Launch Alliance Delta II rocket launches the sixth modernized Global Positioning System satellite, IIR-19M, into orbit 11,000 miles above the Earth.

It was the 19th in the 'replacement' or 'R' series of GPS satellites launched since 1997 and the 58th GPS satellite overall to date.
