A Delta 4 rocket, 21 stories tall and packing 1.1 million pounds of thrust, launches the GOES-O weather satellite for NASA & NOAA on June 27, 2009, at 6:51pm. The vehicle, appropriately, waited out one scrub and then a 37-minute delay for weather to clear in the launch area.
