This washer was flown aboard Space Shuttle Atlantis on the STS-86 mission to the Russian Mir Space Station in 1997. It was a part of the SpaceHab module, which sat in the payload bay of Atlantis during the flight. Today, it is my everyday flown item, as evidenced by the photo at right.
