Back to STS-132

The payload for STS-132, Russia's Mini Research Module Rassvet, or "Dawn," is prepared for launch in a cleanroom near Kennedy Space Center. On stop of Rassvet is a folded up radiator and airlock (cylinder) that will later be moved to another module. In addition to Dawn, the other STS-132 payloads include a new Ku band antenna for the space station that will be launched attached to the Integrated Cargo Carrier for the shuttle's payload bay, a cradle-shaped stowage platform (below).
