The Space Shuttle Atlantis rolls out to Launch Pad 39A for the first (but not last) time on February 15 in preparation for launch. It will be the first use of Pad A since Columbia launched on its final flight in January 2003. First motion came at 8:19am EST and Atlantis was atop the pad less than six hours later. Atlantis was later rolled back to the Vehicle Assembly Building to repair hail damage.
