Iguazu Falls is a gem in the middle of the subtropical rainforest, straddling the border between Brazil and Argentina and not far from the Paraguayan border as well. The falls, closely rivaling Victoria Falls in Africa for the world's largest, also harbor abundant wildlife nearby including an estimated 400 bird species and countless butterfly species.
