This 1.5 x 1.5 inch silver square of insulation was removed from the Great Observatory known as the Hubble Space Telescope by the STS-103 crew in December, 1999. It orbited the earth from its launch on April 24, 1990 until its removal. This is an official space-agency presentation. Silence speaks more than words.
