| Crater Lake National Park Back to Western Roadtrip 2010 PHOTO TIP: The photos here have not been adjusted beyond minimal levels or contrast. I did use a polarizer, naturally, to bring out the color - which is the most electric blue water you will ever see. However, I have seen a lot of other photos where it appears calm and reflective and less blue, so it surely depends on weather conditions and sun angle. Definitely bring a polarizer! Wizard Island (above and other photos) is the dominant volcanic cinder cone seen in Crater Lake, which spans approx. 5x6 miles. |
