Launch Complex 37 ~ Saturn 1, 1B, Delta 4
Launch Complex 37 was the host of Saturn 1 and 1B unmanned launches as the Apollo era progressed in the 1960s. In the late 1990s the pad began the conversion to become the home of the modern Delta 4 and Delta 4-Heavy rocket, which made its debut in 2002. The mobile launch tower and lightning masts stand approximately 400 feet (40 stories) tall. Pad 37B (A was never used) supported eight Saturn launches in total (six Saturn 1 and two Saturn 1B) and has now supported four Delta 4 launches through April 10, 2006.
