The Cape Peninsula is a spectacular, end-of-the-earth location south of Cape Town and home to Table Mountain National Park. In the above panorama, the more
well known but incorrectly thought-of Cape of Good Hope is the rocky outcrop at left. This is neither the southernmost point in Africa or even on this
peninsula. The Cape Point itself is the very dramatic vertical-edge cliff that juts out into the ocean (such as in the third photo). A narrow, cliff-edge path winds
past the lighthouse to the very tip. Panorama below taken in Table Mountain National Park on the way to the point.
